Resources- what is the resource ?
Everything which comes into our use does not come into our use is a resource . Are you feeling whether I am having the mind or not as both things I said?
Sure why not if I am having resources like a motor car if am using this car for my tasks to complete it is a resource but if am not using this vehicle then it may not be a resource for me. and only a liability to pay its insurance, service charges etc.
in spite of its nature, it is a resource.
Now we need to understand what is the meaning of optimum utilisation:-
to understand optimum utilisation we need to understand the word utilisation just like in the above example if am using the vehicle it is called the utilisation. whereas if am going to use this as much as I can for all the tasks are called optimum utilisation.
The effectively used resource may be called optimum utilised resource.
Management of resources 5 tips -
Here we go---------------------
Suppose you are having a resource of manpower in your business and you need to deal with him it is sure no one can be perfect in everything as a mentor we need to under few things of this resource such as what are the task he is performing in a day, how is his IQ level, how he is doing man-management, his approach towards the work, discipline at work, accuracy towards the tasks given to him, honesty etc...
FIRST TIP - We have analysed the resource suppose your resource is having only one quality good IQ level, in that case, what we should allocate him we should give him tasks where only fast understanding required and no need to do other tasks restrict him only to give understanding to other team managers about the planned tasks. give him/her only the tasks where understanding required, tasks related to study the plan and he give the only conclusion to you.
SECOND TIP - We have analysed a person who is only good at calculations formulas equations we only need to give them that kind of tasks like taking accumulation various MIS reports from him were tuff and good calculation required . after taking those reports we should give our conclusions should be arranged and forwarded to concerned (management/leader/customer/buyer)
THIRD TIP - Give daily a new task to the team for doing a different type of task through which resource gives his understanding that these are the more areas where they are good and great going, only give detailed working to those who really want to do something in new areas.
FOURTH TIP - Group tasks, this is very very important where one leader should understand the strengths of his team members and as per individual strength give joint tasks of the individual level so that his burden can be shifted to the team and at least few tasks of himself got done to 90 % without his much involvement.
FIFTH TIP - ANYONE CAN HAVE OPTIMUM UTILISATION OF HIS RESOURCES ONLY WHEN ???????????????????????????????
LAST BUT NOT LEAST ----WHEN HE SHOULD HAVE ALL THE CONTROLS WITH HIM ONLY. ANALYSING, IDENTIFYING, DELEGATING ALL IS OK BUT IF WE DO NOT HAVE THE CONTROL OF OUR RESOURCES WITH US THEN WE CANNOT MANAGE OUR RESOURCES EFFECTIVELY AND OPTIMALLY. MAKE CONTROL FOR EVERY task FOR YOUR TEST CHECKING, SYSTEM OF YOUR OWN ALSO.
leave your comments I would be reverting.
Thanks
